How to Use the Photo Journal

The Photo Journal helps you keep a visual timeline of your aligner journey. You can capture new photos or import existing images, then review them later from the Photos tab.

Add a photo

  1. Open AlignerSilk.

  2. Tap the Photos tab.

  3. Tap Add Photo.

  4. Choose whether to take a new photo or import one.

  5. Save the photo to your journal.

View a photo

  1. Open the Photos tab.

  2. Tap any photo tile.

  3. Review the larger photo and its details.

Delete a photo

  1. In the Photos tab, long-press a photo tile.

  2. Choose Delete Photo.

  3. Confirm the deletion.

Save to Photos

AlignerSilk can also save photos to your iPhone photo library if you enable the setting:

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Turn on Save to Photos.

  3. Allow photo library access if iOS asks.

If you do not enable this, photos can still be stored inside AlignerSilk, but they may not be copied to your camera roll.

Privacy note

Your treatment photos may contain personal health information. Only share them with people or providers you trust.
