Tracking when your Aligners are out
AlignerSilk is built around a simple idea: start the timer when your aligners come out, then stop it when they go back in. The app uses those sessions to calculate your daily out-of-mouth time, remaining allowance, streaks, insights, and treatment progress.

How to start tracking
Open AlignerSilk.
Go to the Timer tab.
Tap the large timer ring when you take your aligners out.
The status changes to Not Wearing, and the timer begins counting the current break.
How to stop tracking
Put your aligners back in.
Open the Timer tab.
Tap the timer ring again.
AlignerSilk saves the session and adds it to your daily history.
What the timer numbers mean
Out today shows the total time your aligners have been out today.
Remaining shows how much out-of-mouth time you have left based on your daily wear goal.
Recent Activity shows your latest saved breaks.
Streak reflects days where you stayed on track with your wear goal.
If you forget to stop the timer
Open Settings > History, find the session, and edit or delete the incorrect entry. This recalculates your tracking data so your insights stay accurate.
AlignerSilk helps you track habits and consistency, but it does not provide medical advice. Always follow the plan given by your dentist or orthodontist.
