AlignerSilk is built around a simple idea: start the timer when your aligners come out, then stop it when they go back in. The app uses those sessions to calculate your daily out-of-mouth time, remaining allowance, streaks, insights, and treatment progress.

Tracking when your Aligners are out

AlignerSilk uses your daily wear goal to calculate how much out-of-mouth time you have available each day. For example, a 22-hour wear goal gives you about 2 hours of total out-of-mouth allowance.

How to Change Your Daily Wear Goal

AlignerSilk builds a treatment timeline from the aligner details you enter during onboarding: your aligner brand, total number of trays, current tray, current tray day, and how many days you plan to wear each tray.

Fixing Tracking Issues

If your daily wear time or out-of-mouth time looks incorrect, it usually means a timer session was started late, stopped late, or left running by accident.

My Wear Time Looks Wrong? How Do I Fix it?

AlignerSilk uses notifications for return-to-aligner reminders, overtime alerts, delay actions, and treatment reminders. If notifications are not appearing, check both AlignerSilk settings and iOS settings.
